I'm sick.  Won't make it to class Tuesday 10/ 9.  Hope you guys get this before class.

We'll talk about Obama's English on TH (and if you want to include commentary from the first presidential debate, that would be welcome), but our next article is long, so I'm posting it early:

Also, our first paper (after your cell paper) is about your identity--how you choose to identify and what you can and cannot change.  I'll give you lots more detail before you start writing, but do start thinking about how you self-identify, in every possible way.  (How do you describe yourself?)
